Failure to adhere to these behavioural expectations may result in immediate dismissal from the activity without refund.

2. Group Etiquette

Participants are expected to arrive on time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

Check-in lasts approximately 10 – 15 minutes at the start of each Excursion, Event or Workshop, providing a brief buffer for latecomers. Out of respect for the group, all Excursions, Events and Workshops will begin promptly at the designated start time, and the group cannot be delayed beyond this window.

Participants who arrive after the departure time may not be permitted to join the Excursion, Event or Workshop, and no refunds or credits will be issued.

To ensure the best possible experience for all participants, the following etiquette standards must be observed:

  • Cellphones must be silenced or set to vibrate throughout.
  • Phone calls must be taken away from the group if necessary and should be limited to emergencies.

  • Dress appropriately for the weather and terrain and wear sturdy, suitable footwear.
  • Questions and engagement are encouraged, but participants must not interrupt excessively or dominate conversations at the expense of others.
  • Excessive talking during instruction is discouraged so that all participants can hear and focus.

  • No unauthorized collection of foraged materials where prohibited by the guide or Excursion, Event or Workshop rules.
  • Follow all posted regulations and signage at the Excursion, Event or Workshop location.

Failure to follow environmental protection policies may result in immediate removal from the Excursion, Event or Workshop without refund and potential reporting to relevant authorities.
